Vedanta Aluminium onboards Pankaj Sureka as CHRO —

Vedanta Aluminium has appointed Pankaj Sureka as chief human resources officer – VL Jharsuguda. Sureka joined Vedanta after spending 11 years at Reliance Industries where he led the rewards team which is taking care of compensation design and implementation for RIL employees including expats. 

He announced his new job role in a social media post. “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Vedanta Limited – Aluminium Business! Jharsuguda,” Sureka poste don Linkedin

With close to 15 years of industry experience working on compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement, Sureka previously worked with Wipro Technologies and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

He holds his M.A. from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
