Sanofi appoints Zepto’s CHRO Rooma Bindroo as People Director & Head of HR —

Sanofi, a global healthcare company, has announced the appointment of Rooma Bindroo as People Director and Head of HR, with immediate effect.

In her new role, Rooma brings over 15 years of experience across e-commerce, FMCG, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and IT consulting industries. Her core competencies include Analytical Skills, Employee Relations, cultural transformation, total rewards strategies, conflict management, employee engagement, strategic business, executive development, talent acquisition, coaching, compensation & benefits, change management, HR transformation, and leadership development.

Before her appointment, Rooma served Zepto in the capacity of Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to that, she worked with Tata Consumer Products as the Vice President of HR for NourishCo Beverages, Johnson & Johnson as the HR leader for Global Functions, and Mahindra and Mahindra as a Global HR Manager. She also worked with Tata Strategic Management Group, GlaxoSmithKline, and Infosys at the beginning of her career.

On the academic side, Rooma holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai and a Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI Jamshedpur.

Announcing her new role on LinkedIn, Rooma posted, “To new beginnings, here’s to a super interesting journey ahead. Super stoked to begin an amazing learning journey with Sanofi, helping craft the way ahead for Sanofi CHC in India.”
