Paramount+ Student Discount

Thanks to its wide selection of material from CBS and other networks, Paramount+ has swiftly grown to be a favorite among streaming services. This site is even more alluring to college students because of a sizable student discount. This post will go into great detail on the Paramount+ student discount, including eligibility, costs, and additional ways to reduce subscription costs.

Do Students Get 25% off Paramount Plus?

Yes, students can get the Paramount+ Essential plan for 25% off. The monthly subscription charge is now about $4.49 instead of $5.99, thanks to this discount. Students must use SheerID, a third-party service, to confirm their student status and be enrolled in a recognized college or university in order to be eligible. This validation guarantees that the discount is only given to qualified students.

What’s the Cheapest Way to Get Paramount Plus?

With the student discount, admission to Paramount+ is the most economical option, with a monthly cost of just $4.49. Still, there are other ways to save money:

  • Free Trial: To try the service before committing to a monthly plan, new subscribers can take advantage of a 7-day free trial.
  • Yearly Membership: There are financial benefits to choosing an annual subscription. The Essential plan, for example, costs $59.99 per year, which is equivalent to two months free when compared to the monthly fee.
  • Package Deals: It is possible to combine Paramount+ with other services. For example, Walmart+ comes with a $12.95 monthly subscription to Paramount+. For individuals who currently use Walmart+, this gives further savings.

Does Paramount Plus Offer Any Other Discounts?

In addition to the student discount, Paramount+ offers the following discounts and promotions:

  • Annual Subscription Discounts: When compared to monthly payments, annual subscriptions can save you money.
  • Promotional Codes: On occasion, promotional codes that provide substantial savings on the first month or annual memberships are accessible for new users.
  • Packaged Services: Sometimes Paramount+ is bundled with other memberships, such as Walmart+, giving subscribers additional benefits.

Paramount+ provides a number of methods for users, including students, to reduce the cost of their streaming subscriptions, which makes it a desirable option for anybody seeking to consume a variety of media at a reduced price.

How to Get the Paramount+ Student Discount

You can save 25% on your monthly subscription to Paramount+ Essential if you are a recognized student. More than 40,000 episodes and films, exclusive originals, live sports like the NFL on CBS and the UEFA Champions League, and breaking news from CBS News around the clock are all available to you with Paramount+.

You must be enrolled full-time in a Title IV, recognized higher education institution in order to be eligible for the discount. Students in high school are not eligible.

Here’s how to get the student discount:

  1. Start by going to the website.
  2. SheerID will verify your student details throughout the signup process in order to validate your current enrollment status. Make sure the contact details for your student match those on your official school records.
  3. Should a database match exist, the verification process will be automated, and you will be sent to the “Payment” page to initiate your membership and provide your billing details. You’ll be asked to upload student documentation if extra information is required to confirm your enrollment status.

Important Notes on the Student Discount

  • Only the Essential monthly plan is eligible for the 25% discount. To take advantage of the deal, current Paramount+ customers must cancel their subscriptions and sign up again via the student discount website.
  • Even if you graduate before the four-year term expires, the student discount is good for another four years after it has been authenticated. Payments will resume at the regular monthly Essential membership cost after four years.

Verification Issues

In the event that SheerID is unable to confirm your enrollment status immediately, you might need to submit more official school records, including your current ID card with an expiration date.

  • Transcript from school; – Additional documents from school bearing your name, the name of the school, and the date of your current enrollment

Make sure your documents fulfill the requirements in case you run into problems with verification. After reviewing each document in the order that it is received, SheerID sends you an email to let you know how your verification is going, and it takes 30 minutes or less.

What if My School Is Not Listed?

The student discount is only available to those enrolled in Title IV, recognized colleges and universities, as verified by SheerID. Your school might not fulfill the requirements for this offer if it is not on the list.

College students wishing to enjoy a wide range of materials might find Paramount+ to be an economical alternative, especially with its generous student discount. You may take advantage of this discount and explore the vast collection of series, movies, and live events on Paramount+ by confirming your identity as a student with SheerID.
