Disney+ is Disney’s popular streaming service that is filled with something cherished by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. With the massive library and huge growing list of originals coming up, it is quite obvious that students often want to know whether a Disney Plus student discount really exists. This post is taking a look at whether Disney+ has a student discount and how to get Disney Plus discounts.

Is There a Disney Plus Student Discount?

As of now, Disney Plus has no special discount for students. Unlike a few other streaming services that now offer a slashed rate for students, Disney+ has not made any such announcement. That said, students can still grab Disney+ at the competitive subscription price it’s going at currently or take advantage of third-party seasonal offers from platforms such as MyUniDays.

The best way to get Disney Plus for 6 months, free of charge

This one doesn’t go directly for the free student discount offer, but here is what you can enjoy at Disney+ entirely for free or at a lesser cost.

How to get Disney Plus free for six months:

The package, which starts at $16.99/month for the ad-supported tier or $29.99/month for ad-free access across the three platforms, may be purchased through any of the three streaming services. This is a terrific way to bundle all three of your presently owned products together and save a significant amount of money compared to purchasing them separately. You’ll save 34% on the ad-supported plan and 38% on the ad-free plan.

Verizon Wireless Offer

Verizon Wireless now offers its customers Disney Plus through a promotion that gives it free. With select Verizon Unlimited plans, your subscription service will come with an absolutely free allowance of up to six months. Following the promotional period, a regular subscription rate applies. Available for new and existing customers.

Bundle Offers

Every once in a while, Disney creates special promotions that bundle Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ at a discounted rate. They do not come free, but they sure help you save some money if you want to bundle the services rather than subscribing to them one by one. Keep an eye out for any special promotion that might entail a longer trial time.

Free trial periods are occasionally offered to attract new subscribers. Quite often, the trials will last for less than six months, but taking the free trial will still give you access to Disney+ for free over that time. Always check the Disney+ website and promotional emails for current offers.

Streaming service credit, cashback: Through some credit card issuing companies, you can get some streaming service credit or cashback reward—redeem them now. Check if your credit card offers some such redeemable perks with your Disney+ subscription. In many cases, they can pay the full cost of your subscription for a couple of months. 5. Exclusive Discounts via Partners: Keep an eye out for deals where Disney+ partners with certain companies. Sometimes, Disney+ may be offered with a subscription to some other service, with a particular tech purchase, or during purchases at certain retail.

Other Discount Offers

Disney+ is now offering a special military discount through The Exchange. Veterans, active duty members, and their families are eligible to join up for Disney+ and enjoy a 25% yearly membership price reduction. This deal is accessible in many of the nations and areas where Disney+ is now offered worldwide. The military discount is exclusive to the annual Disney+ subscription and cannot be combined with any other promotional pricing.

It should be noted that the military discount is not applicable to those who choose to enroll in The Disney Bundle or the monthly payment plan. Please be aware that only current Exchange members who are new or qualified returning Disney+ subscribers can take advantage of the military discount rate. This deal is not available to current Disney+ subscribers.
