Google India’s head Sanjay Gupta is now APAC president —

Google India head Sanjay Gupta has been named as the new president of Google APAC. He has succeeded Scott Beaumont who will be retiring from Google at the end of this year after nearly 16 years.

“As I start my new role as Google’s APAC President, this serves as a powerful reminder of the role we play as an enabler. APAC isn’t just any region; it’s the heart of global growth and innovation, home to half the world’s population and poised to lead the tech revolution,” Sanjay posted on LinkedIn.

Sanjay thanked the leadership team and his colleagues in India for their unwavering passion and commitment. He will relocate to Singapore in the coming months and Google will start the process to hire a new India head soon.
