German automaker Audi is reportedly preparing for substantial workforce reductions outside of production roles, with thousands of jobs at risk, according to Manager Magazin.
The cuts are expected to target indirect positions, particularly in development, where over 2,000 roles could be affected, aiming for an overall workforce reduction of around 15 per cent.
In Germany alone, approximately 4,500 indirect jobs may be impacted.
