    Make in India with Japan for the Globe; IJBC and BCIC are hosting the business summit

    The Indo-Japan Business Council (IJBC) and the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC) is hosting a business summit on 14th July 2023 at Grand Sheraton in Bengaluru, under the theme of “Make in India with Japan for the Globe,” 

    The objective of the activity is to bring together influential business leaders from India and Japan for a day of insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and exploring potential collaborations and investments.

    Announcing the India-Japan Business Summit Mr Siddharth Deshmukh, President of the IJBC informed, “Our aim is to provide a platform for businesses from India and Japan to forge strong connections and foster meaningful collaborations,” he also mentioned, “We are eager to witness the synergy between these two vibrant economies and assist in establishing enduring relationships.”

    The Summit will feature distinguished keynote speakers from both countries, including Mr. Nakane Tsutomu, Consul General of Japan in Bengaluru, and JETRO who will share their expertise and vision for future bilateral trade. The Summit will cover a wide range of topics, including the future of trade between India and Japan, the transformative role of technology in business, and the significance of fostering innovation.

    “This international conference serves as a prime opportunity to showcase the vast array of possibilities in both countries, allowing businesses to thrive and expand their horizons. The resources and skill sets available in India have to be deeply leveraged to promote manufacturing excellence in a big way with the support of Japan towards Atma Nirbhar Bharat” remarked the President of the BCIC, Dr. L Ravindran. He also expressed BCIC’s commitment to promoting trade and investment between India and Japan, emphasizing the immense growth potential for businesses in both nations in the current geo-strategic and geo-political situation.

    In additionally to the Summit following activities are also organised:

    1. Corporate Golf Tournament on 15th July 2023: As part of the India-Japan Business Summit, a thrilling Corporate Golf Tournament will be held, providing an excellent platform for business leaders to showcase their golfing skills while fostering economic ties between India and Japan.
    2. Resilient MSME Certificate on 13th July 2023: The IJBC offers the Resilient MSME Certificate Program, specifically designed to equip Indian MSMEs with the necessary knowledge and skills to flourish in challenging business environments. The program encompasses various aspects of resilience, including risk management, business continuity planning, and innovation.
    3. Business Delegation to Japan: 13th to 20th October 2023: In collaboration with the BCIC, the IJBC presents an unparalleled opportunity for corporate leaders to embark on an immersive, sector-agnostic learning tour in Japan. This unique experience aims to provide invaluable insights into Japanese business culture while exploring new avenues for collaboration.

    The Summit is anticipated to attract over 200 esteemed business leaders from India and Japan; it presents an invaluable occasion for businesses to stay abreast of the latest industry trends, forge connections with potential partners, and explore untapped markets.
