Comviva, a global player in customer experience and data monetisation solutions, announced today that Rajesh Chandiramani has assumed the role of CEO and Whole-time Director effective June 1, 2024.

Chandiramani takes over from Manoranjan ‘Mao’ Mohapatra, who retired at the end of May after a “remarkable” tenure. Mohapatra will continue serving on Comviva’s board as a non-executive director.

The leadership transition comes as Comviva celebrates its 25th anniversary in business and reaffirms its commitment to advancing as a a leader in intelligent software platforms.

With over 30 years of experience leading businesses across various organisations, Chandiramani joins Comviva after senior roles at Tech Mahindra. He served as business unit head for strategic markets in the communications, media and entertainment vertical, overseeing digital transformation initiatives involving cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity and blockchain technologies.

Previously, Chandiramani drove significant expansion as head of Tech Mahindra’s APAC enterprise business across various verticals. His five years leading the Europe business was also transformative for the company’s enterprise and telecom operations across the continent.
