Entries are now open for the 2023 HR Excellence Awards.

Open to HR professionals and teams across the UK, HR magazine’s HR Excellence Awards celebrate innovation and best practice from every corner of the profession.

This year’s event will feature a significant shake-up of categories.

In response to demand, four of the awards’ 22 categories – HR Team of the Year, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy of the Year, Learning & Development Strategy of the Year and Wellbeing Strategy of the Year – have now been split into SME and Large Organisation sub-categories, up from 2021’s 18 categories.

A brand-new category has also been introduced to represent the thousands of independent HR practices across the UK: HR Consultancy of the Year.

The additions mean there are now 22 trophies to be won at this year’s black tie ceremony in December.

HR magazine editor Jo Gallacher wished all entrants the best of luck. She said: “Study our criteria, select your categories, and prepare your entries with pride.

“Winning an HR Excellence Award is no mean feat – there’s good reason they’re the most sought-after trophies in the industry!”

Entries for the awards close in August 2023, when HR magazine will convene a panel of industry experts to judge submissions.

The cost of entry in any category is £390, with the exception of Future Leader of the Year, which is free to enter.

Entrants can upload their submissions at hrexcellenceawards.com alongside supporting documents. A full list of categories is available here.
