Clinch is a New York-based company that helps brands and agencies deliver customized ad experiences. With seven global sites across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Clinch is passionate about creating a winning global company culture for their 140 employees, near and far. 

Bob has proven instrumental in this endeavor, providing Clinch with a social media-like feed for their people to share company news and engage with each other. Clinch uses Bob to announce new hires and highlight outstanding peer-nominated employees who embody their core values. They also enable their global workforce to get to know each other on a deeper level by spotlighting team members and sharing information about their personal interests through fun facts and quizzes. 

Clinch also uses Bob to engage their people around global holidays and themed initiatives such as Black History Month, Pride Month, and International Women’s Day. They share posts that recognize the significance of these days, announce events, offer virtual backgrounds, and provide outlets for discussion. These efforts have played a crucial role in recognizing and celebrating the company’s cultural diversity. 

Another way that Clinch engages its global workforce is by involving its people in decisions about different initiatives, such as company events and benefits. Clinch uses Bob’s Surveys to gain employee feedback and uses the data they collect to drive company-wide decisions. This approach helps Clinch’s people feel heard and supported and likely contributes to the company’s impressive 99 percent retention rate.

Creating transformative onboarding experiences 

Legend is an online media and technology company based in the UK, with 550+ employees working from six hubs across Europe and North America and remotely from an additional 16 countries. 

As Legend penetrated new locations and markets, they realized they needed to adapt their onboarding process to deliver a consistent and robust experience for all their people, including those onboarding remotely. Among Legend’s onboarding challenges were fast turnaround times for ordering IT equipment, access provisioning, manual data integrity issues across systems, and non-centralized and inconsistent communication with new starters and their managers. 

Using Bob, Legend has created a unified onboarding experience for new starters that automates essential tasks and centralizes documentation through their Lever integration, while localizing site-specific tasks for a more personalized experience. 

Legend’s onboarding task list in Bob contains multiple touchpoints from across the business that are consolidated into one flow that includes: 

  • A structured and automated communication plan from contract signature until the end of probation
  • A 30/60/90-day plan for new hires
  • Goal-setting 

They’ve also added self-service tasks for new hires to complete a workstation assessment, order their preferred company merchandise, and explore company information before their first day, reducing intervention by the support team by 63 percent.  

Bob’s integrations with Legend’s tech stack, including Lever, Jira, Slack, and Okta, increase company efficiency during onboarding, saving the company hundreds of hours annually, and contribute to the “legend-ary onboarding experience” they provide for their new starters.

ecosio is an IT service and consulting company based in Vienna. Since 2021, their primary focus has been on growing their global team, and they have hired a diverse and talented workforce of over 130 employees that span nine countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the US. 

ecosio is committed to prioritizing employee wellbeing, ensuring that their people—both those working at ecosio today and those hired in the future—experience a positive work environment with opportunities for growth and fulfillment. This past year, ecosio used Bob’s workforce planning tools to streamline their recruiting and hiring processes and align jobs and salaries. They established a comprehensive compensation framework using Bob’s benchmarking tool to analyze salaries and have created a job catalog by redefining each role within the organization and mapping it to specific job families and levels. This effort has increased transparency in salary bands, ensuring competitive market remuneration and addressing existing salary gaps. 

Using Bob, ecosio has achieved transparency and fairness in compensation that stands out in the industry. Their retention rate is 91.1 percent, highlighting their commitment to creating a supportive and fulfilling workplace for their people.
