We were lucky enough to speak with Globaly’s very own Kimberly Mesa and Maria Bracho, HR Manager and HR Coordinator respectively. Kimberly started at Globalfy 7 years ago when there were only 2 employees. She has been able to see the company grow and expand into a thriving international business that has over 70 employees in more than 6 countries. During the early stages of Globalfy, they spent a significant amount of time manually handling HR tasks.   • Document management: Team members’ documents are all organized and securely stored in one place. A manager can request employees to upload and sign PIPs, HR can request employees to add their passports and fill in their W-4 forms, etc. Factorial centralized all their employee information.
  • Calendar: All Globalfires, as they refer to themselves, have visibility on who is on vacation, who is on a work trip, who is covering for someone who is off, etc. It gives independence for everyone on the team to know someone’s whereabouts without having to ask.
  • Time off: The mobile app makes it easy for employees to request their PTO, see how many days they’ve used, and managers can seemingly approve the requests. Beforehand, employees had to ask HR admins about their PTO balance, request to managers, and the approvals were not documented.
  • Employee Profile: Visibility into employees’ agreements and promotions where both the employee and managers access important information pertaining to the employee’s growth in the company. This gives more independence not only to the employee but also to the managers.
